Kubin - Border Serbia/Romania - Cozla
Today it was very windy so I made only slow progress. After the border in Romania I had first to climb a hill, where I first ate a muesli on top to avoid dehydration until the next supermarket, because I had lost my water bottle on the way. Here I also met the next two cycling tourists.
The route continued along the banks of the Danube River, which transformed from a swampy landscape into the breathtaking Iron Gate Reservoir. As I navigated this scenic area, the mosquitoes that had plagued me earlier disappeared. However, finding a suitable spot to sleep proved difficult, as fishermen occupied most of the area and the escarpment offered limited options. Therefore, I chose to camp directly on the water's edge again, where I was treated to an enchanting display of flashing glowworms in the darkness.
Donauradweg: Tuttlingen - Ulm

Transalp 2013
Diese Etappe führt von Trafoi aus auf einer Passstraße mit unzähligen Spitzkehren hinauf auf das 1000 Meter höher gelegene Stilfser Joch.
Von dort geht es über den Umbrailpass weiter auf den Bocchetta di Forcola, dem mit 2768m, höchsten Punkt unserer Tour. Die Abfahrt vom Bocchetta di Pendolo mündet von einem wunderschönen, sich in das Tal schlängelnden, Trail in einen Schotterabhang mit recht grobem Schotter, bis man letztendlich in Bormiò ankommt.
Das Etappenziel Santa Caterina Valfurva erreichten wir am Spätnachmittag und somit hatten wir die am Vortag verloren gegangene Zeit wieder aufgeholt.
Everest Basecamp Trek (EBC): Cheplung - Namche Bazar
The trek to Namche Bazar featured numerous suspension bridges and a strenuous climb at the end. Upon reaching our destination, we took a well-deserved acclimatization day to adjust to the altitude and prepare for the journey ahead.
